The Cello Factory is a stunning, large, double-height space showing British and international artists at all stages of their careers but in particular offering a platform for the some of most exciting young emerging artists in London. Jake & Dinos Chapman and Bob & Roberta Smith showed in ‘Play’ curated by Julia Alvarez and 'Private Confessions', lens based works by Dutch women artists, included Melanie Bosboom and Katrin Korfmann. Frank Bowling RA and Graham Mileson have exhibited together, followed by 'Bowlings's Cru', an exhibition curated by Frank Bowling. The Cello Factory is also a recital space featuring performances by exceptional young musicians at the beginning of their careers. including Max Baillie and Juliet Fraser. Close to Waterloo Station and mid-way between the National Theatre and the Old Vic The Cello Factory couldn't be more convenient to visit.
